Skiing on Jested
Jested, the highest mountain in Liberec, is just over 10 minutes away by car from the
Apartma Marcella Liberec!
Jested is 1012 meter high and has 12.5 km of slopes. It is a safe ski area above for young children. Parents can skiing with them or can collecting their children on the slopes. On Jested are ski courses offered at different levels, for children and adults. For people looking for something more challenging it can be relatively safe skiing off-piste on Jested.
Jested is easily reached by public transport or by car, there are plenty of parking spaces available.
Jested also offers night skiing, which enjoys a magical experience is! Additionally Jested has a snow park for the daredevils among us, a sledding downhill for the little ones and several restaurants.

Ski centrum Bedřichov
Bedřichov with a height of ± 800 meter is about 20 minutes drive from the Apartma Marcella Liberec.
This is an ideal ski area for families with young children. In this area, several options for downhill and cross-country skiing are. There are 8 lifts with a total of 6km slopes, there is also still Lauf a long route length of more than 70km. In short, this area is great for beginners and advanced. Also, night skiing is possible here.
Bedřichov offers course on ski rental and there is possibility to follow ski courses. There are also several restaurants available, and there are two large car parks below the slopes.

Ski centrum Čertova hora in Harrachov
Devil's Mountain (Čertova hora) with a height of 1020 meter is within 45 min. drive by car of the Apartma Marcella Liberec.
The ski area Harrachov belongs to the most beautiful and well known in the Czech Republic.
Devil's Mountain has several beautiful slopes of 8.6 km long,
from black to simple beginner slopes. Its main 'red trail',
belonged to the most reliable and best-groomed slopes in the country.
Harrachov is also known for its ski-jumps, which includes the World Cup ski jumping competitions are organized.
Besides skiing, you snowboarding in Harrachov and excellent cross country on routes of 110 km long.
Ski centrum Javorník
Javorník with a height of 650 meter, is 20 minutes away by car from the Apartma Marcella Liberec.
It is a small but modern ski center for beginners and families with children.
You will find next to a ski lift, the rope lift for children, a ski slope 900m long. Additionally Javornik also availabl overe a special snowboard job, bobsleigh 1100m long (summer and winter), children's playground, ski school and ski / snowboard rentals.
At the top, in the middle of the forest, there is a restaurant 'Giant barrel' with a lookout tower. Parking is free.
Zoological garden Liberec
Liberec have the oldest zoo in the whole Czech Republic! The zoo is about 13 hectares
and that means thats it is suitable for a nice walk (2 km trail)
in summer and also during the winter.
The zoo is a home to more than 170 species, that means that there are more than 1,000 animals to admire! Which 500 animal species are protected by the EEP (European conservation programs).
The zoo has also several programs, for example: animals are showing fun tricks.

Centrum Babylon
Centrum Babylon is an old factory completely transformed and refurbished as a hotel and entertainment park.
Inside you will also find restaurants, bars, shops, a nightclub, Luna Park (indoor amusement park for the little ones) IQ park (train your brain, for young and old) and of course the popular Aqua Park with tropical pool.
Furthermore Centrum Babylon also a wellness center.
